BRACE Award Venture Competition

Friday Morning, 6 November 2020, Hong Kong Time

The Asian Fund for Cancer Research (AFCR) congratulates our seven semi-finalists of the 2020 BRACE Award Venture Competition. We will be announcing the two finalists shortly after the virtual pitch competition on 6 November 2020. Each finalist will be awarded prizes equivalent to HK$10,000. Subject to due diligence and negotiation, one winning business from among the finalists will receive the equivalent of HK$2,000,000 in investment funding from AFCR, which will serve as early seed money for proof of concept and proof of value on the path to clinical trials and, eventually, to new effective therapeutics that could save patients’ lives.

In addition to announcing the two finalists selected by the Judging Committee, the BRACE Award Venture Competition is looking to name one of our semi-finalists as the “Best Public Communicator”. AFCR wishes to increase the visibility of our semi-finalists, spread the word about their innovative technologies and help highlight their marketing skills.

Pick your favorite video clip and vote for the company by 5 November 2020! The Best Public Communicator will be awarded HK$5,000. Who will it be? We can’t all be on the official Judging Committee…  but we can ALL Cast our Vote!
