Perchow Joseph Chang is a China-based executive, currently a Managing Director with Prosperity7 Ventures, where he serves as the senior leader in China for Saudi Aramco’s $1 billion diversification fund, focusing on making venture and growth investments in disruptive and emerging technologies and industries that could provide a new source of wealth creation for Aramco and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. From 2016 to 2020 he was Partner with Eight Roads Ventures China, a proprietary international private equity and venture capital unit of Fidelity International.
Mr. Chang personally focuses on enterprise technology efforts, including security, big data, data centers, networking technologies, social business platforms, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. He received an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management and has almost two decades of multi-industry experience in venture investments, strategy consulting, alliances, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Chang has previously worked with McKinsey, Microsoft, Cisco and Softbank China, and also has broad experience in areas of strategy formulation, deal shaping, marketing, sales and distribution, organization and operations. His successful management record includes profit-and-loss ownership, growth and turnaround. He is a board member of the Asian Fund for Cancer Research.
