Cancer Research UK's latest round of Pioneer Award winners are tackling some of the biggest questions in cancer research, submitted to their panel of experts in a short and snappy pitch. In their 6th round they’ve funded 4 new projects. They will be drawing parallels between HIV and lung cancer, stopping cancer at inception, killing liver cancer cells with experimental gene therapy, and developing a blood ‘nano–test’ for cancer.
