BRACE Award Venture Competitions must be conducted entirely in English.
Application for the BRACE Award Venture Competition consists of three parts (general questionnaire fields, a presentation deck summarizing a business plan and a brief video), each of which must be completed and submitted before the application deadline—and that will remain confidential. The application cut-off date for the 2022 BRACE Award Venture Competition will be Monday, 28 February 2022, at 11:59 PM Hong Kong Time.
Early-stage start-up companies with promising and innovative oncology technologies – therapeutic, diagnostic, preventive, digital health solutions or others – for those cancers prevalent in Asian populations are eligible to apply. Submitted applications will be reviewed by AFCR personnel, and approved submissions will be evaluated by a highly qualified selection committee based on the overall quality of responses. Chosen semi-finalists will be invited to participate in a virtual competition and make a private presentation in front of the judging committee. An Investment Committee will determine the final winner to receive AFCR investment by conducting detailed due diligence research on the top finishers of the virtual competition.
