Dr. Hali Hartmann is Director of Scientific Relations with the Asian Fund for Cancer Research. In these capacities Dr. Hartmann manages AFCR’s science departments, including their grant, proposal and review programs.  She serves as the liaison with sponsored scientists and their universities and oversees management of multiple sponsored programs. With her broad scientific background, Dr. Hartmann also serves as a science writer for donor relation purposes.

Dr. Hartmann received her B.A. from the University of Louisville and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Hawaii (1986). She completed post-doctoral training in molecular biology and electrophysiology at Temple University School of Medicine, Georgetown University School of Medicine and Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Hartmann was an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Maryland Biotechnology Institute prior to joining the Asian Fund for Cancer Research.
