Dr. Leung is the Chief Financial Officer of the Asian Fund for Cancer Research Limited, who oversees the accounting, financial, and administrative operations of the organization; and directly assists on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management and the securing of new funding.
Dr. Leung has extensive international working experience in NGO and academic sectors. He has been working as a financial executive at the National Foundation for Cancer Research, was a faculty member at the Catholic University of America and the University of Maryland, College Park, respectively, and served as consulting staff for the World Bank and a researcher for the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Dr. Leung graduated at Diocesan Boys’ School, received his B.B.A (Hon.) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in accounting and minoring in finance and statistics. He was a licensed certified public accountant in Maryland.
