More than 450 guests joined Ronan and Storm Keating for the 11th star-studded Emeralds & Ivy Ball, to raise money to support the Marie Keating Foundation and Cancer Research UK’s work to beat cancer sooner. Guests at the prestigious fundraising event, including Zara Phillips, Mike Tindall and Abbey Clancy, enjoyed a night of world-class entertainment and fine dining at Evolution, Battersea Park. The circus-themed evening was hosted by James Nesbitt and saw performances from Simple Minds, Heather Small and Ronan Keating. Guests were also invited to bid on money-can’t–buy prizes. The evening was sponsored by London’s largest security provider, the Banham Group, who were headline supporters for the Ball. Since the event began in 2006, more than £7 million has been to support the Marie Keating Foundation and Cancer Research UK’s Cancer Awareness Roadshow, staffed by specialist nurses and advisors who talk to the public about potentially life-saving steps to reduce the risk of cancer, the importance of early diagnosis and signpost people to local services. Ronan Keating said: “Our Emeralds & Ivy Ball has been going for 11 years now and it remains a hugely important event in helping us raise awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK through the Marie Keating Foundation.
