- Emerging oncology companies showcase their innovative solutions and clinical development pipelines.
- The Symposium brings together a diverse community of cancer researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and investors to foster collaboration, highlight promising oncology startups, and accelerate the development of cancer technologies aimed at saving and enhancing patients’ lives.

AFCR-CityU Innovation Series in Biomedicine
- The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) and AFCR have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration and jointly promote academic, innovation, and entrepreneurship activities.
- The “AFCR-CityU Innovation Series in Biomedicine” forum invites globally renowned scholars and entrepreneurs in biomedicine to discuss advancements in cancer research, innovation, and commercialization, while also enhancing public awareness of cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
- The inaugural forum, held on 12 September 2023, featured distinguished speakers Professor Bruce Johnson from Harvard Medical School Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Professor Raju Kucherlapati from Harvard Medical School.
- Participants engaged in discussions on biomedicine and related innovation and entrepreneurship, exploring opportunities to translate biomedical research into practical applications.
Witnessed by Ms Lillian Cheong, Under Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, HKSAR Government, and Mr Lester Garson Huang, Council Chairman of CityU, the MoU was signed by Professor Michael Yang Mengsu, Senior Vice-President (Innovation and Enterprise) of CityU, and Dr. Sujuan Ba, AFCR Founder & CEO.
