Symposium on Precision Medicine and Digital Medicine
AFCR is partnering with The Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization (HKBIO) and City University of Hong Kong (CityU) to organize a groundbreaking symposium on "Precision Medicine and Digital Medicine" on Thursday, September 12 2024. The symposium will showcase presentations by BRACE award winners and experts in precision medicine, providing a dynamic platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and fostering a collaborative environment for advancements in the biotechnology field.

AFCR proudly highlights a diverse range of programs dedicated to advancing cancer research and innovation worldwide. These initiatives not only emphasize AFCR's commitment to fostering groundbreaking cancer discoveries but also aim to create opportunities for young scientists and entrepreneurs.
AFCR is proud to present the BRACE Award, Bridging Research from Academia to Cancer Entrepreneurship. The BRACE Award aims to provide vital support to early-stage biotechs, enabling them to accelerate their innovative therapeutics, diagnostics and cancer prevention products into the clinic, with the ultimate goal of improving outcomes for patients affected by cancer globally.
The Asian Fund for Cancer Research, National Foundation for Cancer Research, and AIM-HI Accelerator Fund will co-host a content-rich event celebrating cancer research discoveries and the impact of oncology innovation. Featured Programs include New Frontiers in Cancer Research, Women’s Leadership Award Ceremony, and Szent-Györgyi Prize Award Ceremony.
Chinese researchers and physicians are being increasingly recognized for making significant contributions which advance biomedical science, including cancer research in China and throughout the world. The Asian Fund for Cancer Research and the US Chinese Anti-Cancer Association have since 2010 jointly awarded outstanding Chinese cancer researchers in the early stages of their careers with the USCACA-AFCR Young Investigator Award.
