This week, Cancer Research UK's News Digest gives us updates on immunotherapy drugs, shrinking a tumour, boosting immunotherapy, trastuzumab emtansine (Kadcyla), nivolumab (Opdivo), teenage boys to be vaccinated against HPV, childhood cancers have risen, early stage research, Cancer-detecting chewing gum, and finally….. killer sofas? This week's number is 13%, which is the rise in childhood cancers worldwide since the 1980s, partly due to better diagnosis.
